Pick up your Banned/Challenged Reading Log at the New Bern Library Reference Desk and start reading. Check off the banned books as you read them on the Reading Log. Prizes will be awarded to the individual whom has read the most banned/challenged books. Celebrate the freedom to read! Please ask at the Reference Desk for a finding guide for the banned/challenged titles. Return your completed log by December 31, 2023. Please note that the titles on the Reading Log have not been banned/challenged at this library, but at other libraries throughout the country. Reading Logs will be available in mid-September at the Reference Desk.
