2021 Pamlico County Parks & Recreations Department Presents the Bayboro Christmas Parade

The Pamlico County Christmas Parade will be held on December 18, 2021 at 4 pm with a rain date of December 19th at 4 pm. Come down and cheer with your favorites! The theme this year is Christmas Characters! What will the Library Staff be dressed up us?

Children's Programs at the Pamlico Library

Preschool Storytime
Fridays @ 10:00 a.m.
Join Ms. Fran and escape to a new world of make believe as she sits on her Storytime Chair and transforms the children's room to a magical world of dragons, talking mice, monster trucks, fairies and more! After story time, stay to make a craft and work on those fine motor and socialization skills.

School Age Drop in Craft
Mondays @ 3 p.m - 6 p.m.
Drop into the Pamlico Library any time between 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and make a craft to take home. Every week will be something different.

Book Explorers
Wednesday, December 15 @ 3:30 (Ages 5-10)
Join us as we read our way around the globe, learning about the culture, arts, foods, and landscape of countries around the world. Each month the NC Cooperative Extension will debut a new book and country to explore; learning about the peoples and places in our world at the library!

Creative Mythography (Ages 12 +)

Join us at the Pamlico County Library to learn about the combination of two or more otherwise separate fictional characters, settings, or universes within the context of a single story.

Join us as we play video games in the Library the second Friday of each month!

Every Monday’s @ 1 p.m.

NCWorks Job Workshop

The Pamlico County Public Library and NC Works are pleased to present an ongoing partnership to help Pamlico County residents navigate employment waters and find their dream jobs. Come have one-on-one instruction in crafting a personalized resume, cover letter, and internet presence to land the job of your dreams. The first Friday of every the month is dedicated to helping you find the job you want!

Introduction to Watercolor

Holiday Party and Frankie the Reading Dog!
Saturday December 4, 2021 - Drop In from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Come on out and make a variety of holiday ornaments including Christmas ornaments, Kwanzaa decorations and Hanukkah decor. It will be fun for the entire family! Ms. Olga and Frankie will be in attendance as well, so you can practice your reading skills with Frankie.

Holiday Mocktail Tasting
Wednesday, December 8 at 5:30 p.m.

What’s more festive than holiday drinks and snacks? Not much. Join Diann and Shannon for an evening of mixing and exploring adaptable holiday mocktails paired with savory flavors. Space is limited so hurry and jingle on down to the library to RSVP or call us at 252-745-3515.

Friends of the Pamlico County Library Meeting

The Friends of the Pamlico Library is an enthusiastic and generous supporter of the Pamlico Public Library. Family Movie Night

You know they say that free is worth saving up for! So come on down to Pamlico County Library for a free movie! Bring your kids, bring your neighbors, bring your neighbors kids! Bring your mom, and your grandma and your sister too! Everyone is welcome to hunker down with some good ole family fun. We provide the popcorn and you keep the memories.
