Join us for a relaxing meditation to bring the body and mind to stillness, then a gentle stretch for the body, followed by a book discussion as we browse through a selection of inspirational favorites to stretch the mind, energize your spirit, and nurture your soul.

*Victoria Hungerford (Toria) moved to North Carolina from the Southwestern Desert of Arizona where she had lived all her life. One visit to New Bern in July 2021 is all it took for her and her husband to decide to make the move. Victoria worked for Yavapai County Library District in Northern Arizona where she managed a small rural library in Dewey-Humboldt as their Library Coordinator. There, she created new programs that met the needs for the community and partnered with local organizations and agencies to provide specialty programs for patrons of all ages. Just before moving to New Bern, she worked at Northern Arizona Council of Governments (NACOG), Area Agency on Aging as an Activity Specialist in the Health and Wellness Department. There, she created online programs for the older adults in four counties. She is a Certified Yoga and Tai Chi Instructor as well as an Indie Author of two children’s books.
