Pi Day Celebration
Upcoming Events @ Your Public Library
Description
Did you know that Pi dates back to almost 4000 years? With its roots found in ancient civilizations of Egypt and Babylon around 2500 BCE, Pi was used for architectural and engineering purposes, as well as for astronomical observations and geometric calculations. Did you also know that pie is very delicious and even more so when eaten at your local library in the company of our wonderful Friends of the New Bern - Craven County Public Library? Please join us on March 14 (3/14) to celebrate everyone's favorite mathematical constant. We'll have some delicious pies on hand and our Friends will be there too! You can come by from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. We can't wait to see you!
