North Carolina Reads
Did you enjoy the “Let’s Talk About It Series?” You may like the new North Carolina Reads Program continuing in June 2023. This program is sponsored by the North Carolina Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The library will be receiving 15 copies of each book title. The June discussion will be on Step it Up and Go: The Story of North Carolina Popular Music, from Blind Boy Fuller and Doc Watson to Nina Simone and Superchunk by David Menconi. on Tuesday, June 28, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the New Bern Library Auditorium.
