The Craven-Pamlico Regional Library understands that families are finding it challenging to spend quality time together, and we want to help! With the support of ECU student and CPRL employee Charlie Woodall, CPRL is developing a convenient grab-and-go book option designed to encourage young readers.

Families can select a themed backpack filled with books, games, toys, music CDs, and DVDs. These backpacks can be checked out for use at home and are designed to promote early literacy development through talking, reading, writing, singing, and playing. Plus, they’re fun for children to carry! To assist Charlie with this project, we are seeking input on popular topics that kids enjoy.
